The AM-USB-WF is a USB dongle that enables the use of Miracast projection technology with the AM-200 and AM-300 presentation systems and the CCS-UC-1 Crestron Mercury UC Tabletop Conferencing System1. Miracast allows users to wirelessly share content from a Microsoft Windows 10 device, even if a Wi-Fi® network is not available. Miracast is built into the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system, so no software installation is necessary.
Wireless Projection
The AM-USB-WF facilitates wireless connectivity required for Miracast wireless presentation and screen mirroring. The AM-USB-WF uses a two-fold connection method to support wireless projection over existing infrastructure or through Wi-Fi Direct®. This method allows guest users to easily present even if they are not connected to the same network as the receiver.
